This video gives a picture of some of the needs facing the community of North Richmond.

Inspired by the Friends of North Richmond Initiative, our worship Leader, Chad Strader wrote this song. This video is from the first time we sang it together as a church.

“I was in Austin in May 2009 for a pastoral retreat. I was so inspired by Richard Logan (Missions Pastor) and his discussion on being the hands and feet of Christ both abroad and here at home. Sometimes it’s easy to forget that there is a mission field in your own backyard, like North Richmond. As Christians we have to recognize all fronts in our desire to help…I was inspired to write this song when everyone went to lunch.” -Chad Strader

You can pray this as you drive through your neighborhood, as you walk through the halls of your school, as you enter your place of business. Here is the prayer: “Lord, help me see what you see!”
