EDUCATION

No significant learning occurs without a significant relationship. – Dr. James Comer

We have adopted Pink Elementary and Juan Seguin Elementary School through a partnership with the National Adopt A School Initiative NCAASI.   Volunteers are placed in the schools to supplement the education process and family support structures, addressing the academic and social development of public school students.

YOU CAN ACADEMY, After School program launched on October 4, 2011 with over 30 students registered!  We provide a safe and positive environment where our students can enjoy activities that strengthen their academic skills, encourage positive character development, and explore interest they may not have otherwise been exposed to.   Help us influence the choices students make by increasing the developmental assets in our students!    Together with teachers and parents we will help the children in North Richmond achieve their full potential.
